Li Fen was born into a poor family in the village of Jung Tong Tuen, where the tour group of 2002 visited. Unfortunately she lost her loving father at the age of 5. Her mother is mentally handicapped and is incapable of caring for her needs. Both she and her mother are now being cared for by her uncle who has an income of just £100 per month average. Lee (the Uncle) also has a wife, 3 children, and his parents to look after too. In all he has to feed 9 people in his household. His home is cramped and has a make shift of 3 bedrooms. *In China there is no government financial support of any kind. This Association has made a dedication to financialy support Li Fen throughout her life till the age of 18. Anyone who would like to contribute something please give it your Sifu who would pass it onto Sifu Kwok. The amount collected will be transferred every 3 months from November 2003. All who donate will have their name immortalised here on this page. You can donate direct to this account: K W Cheung, Abbey National, 09-01-26, 08409978. Have your name here:

| In September 2004, Sifu, Michael, Darren, and Ashely
had the chance to make a visit to Jung Tong Tsuen. It was a great to see
Li Fen doing very well and that all the help is very much appreciated by
her Uncle pictured on the left. Lee, Li Fen's uncle, has has once again thanked all of us on his families behalf and has put all funds collected to good use and is also saving for her future education. |
