Our Association takes pride in our training and development. We share our passion for Wing Chun with beginners and seasoned practitioners alike. This Association does not shroud itself in 'secrecy' or politics, and so we will always have open doors in the Far East for our members to learn, train, and meet the Grandmaster himself. This is an assurance that this Association will remain true.
This Association cares for it's members as if they were family, that is to say that we help each other where ever we can. For example this Association donated HK$20,000 for the opening of Ip Man Tong, treated to its 60 senior members to a get together evening dinner, paid for the Lion Dance Team to take part in the China National Lion Dance Competition year 2000, and this year (2004) sponsored Ashley Rowan to train in Hong Kong for four months. We try to achieve a better personal development and discovery, and so hopefully a better future community.

Without a doubt that being here we shared with our fellow Wing Chun Family, a common love and respect for our Grandmaster . Guests included some of the most famous names in the circle. However, today was about this one man who continued his father's work, and has now reached what the Chinese calls, 'The Golden Age' Today we see some of past work on the big screen, his sense of humour, his easiness with his students, and a distinct honourability about him. We are forever proud and look forward to many more birthdays. Happy Birthday, Sifu.

Hong Kong is known as the 'City of Life' but what the name means is Incense Harbour. It has a wealth of history, which is also mixed with the modern cosmopolitan way of life. The great thing about Hong Kong is its strive for convenience and efficiency hence there is a 7/11 always nearby. You will never have to wait more than 5 minutes for a subway train or 7 minutes for a normal train. Travelling on public transport is inexpensive, and is always very clean. Locals are very proud and do not ruin their surroundings with graffitii. The service is simply with customers in mind. You will never be left waiting wondering why you have to wait for so long to pay, which very common here in the UK. In Hong Kong they really do put the pleasure in shopping.

Jung Tong Tuen Village is the ancestral roots of Sifu Kwok. Visiting here will give visitors a look into rural life in China where it is not touched by tourism or modern luxuries. The families are mostly very poor with children often not having shoes to wear. Water is pumped from the river, which is free flowing from the mountains. You can see where they farm chickens, rice, and other vegetables in the fields. This village is very well known locally for their Lychee , and Mango produce. Our group received a very warm welcome as it was their first time to receive visitors from the west.

Beijing, China is undoubtedly one of the most popular destinations today for both its tourism and business. For our group it was for its historical and cultural offerings. Apart from the normal tourist areas we also visited off the beaten track places too. It is actually inexpensive to visit Beijing. All taxis run on meter and if you stay away from tourist areas you can have a Peking Duck Dinner for 4 for less than £10, we managed to find half litre bottled beer for 30pence. The food is incredibly fresh and the service is impeccable. If you have a group of 15 people wanting to visit Beijing, or anywhere in China, our Association can organise it for you with all the comfort and best deals you would not normally find in the UK.

Lion Dance, like Kung Fu, is considered as our Chinese Cultural Heritage. The dance is physically demanding and is often performed by martial artists. They are usually requested to perform at special functions and celebrations both for entertainment and as a blessing ( a representation for courage, honour, truth, and spiritual protection.

Please call Sifu Kwok 07780 671889 for a Lion Dance performance.
